Updated for game version 1.31!
For those of yous asking for compatibility with GILL I can't set up this event. I don't really understand GILL's implementation (novice developer) so please talk to other mod authors regarding this problem. Sorry!

Can someone confirm this now works 100% with 1.12? Or should I await til the next DLC with patch comes out in a few weeks?

As far as I know it should work with 1.12. Seems like the majority of people concur since I don't get many posts about bug (well, problems that are caused by this modernistic)

For everyone's attending: the game considers Arachnomorphs from the Hearts of Rock expansion to be Specters. I accept theories on why this happens, only what'due south important is that if you're fighting Arachnomorphs and encounter that Specter oil has been applied, don't worry that oil type is correct.

Oh no s***? I thought this was a problems! It makes sense though, especially because the spiders you lot fight at the Olgierd estate.

Updated by AsarGiN to add a mod menu entry. Should work with game version 1.31

If it's not work, attempt this
1) Copy bin file and paste into the \Witcher 3 binder, Non the \Mods binder.
2) Copy the modAutoApplyOilsMenu file and paste into the \Mods folder
three) Finally go into Options in the game and search for an invisible menu option (no I am not making this upward) and enable the modern options in that location.
Should work now. Definitely not excerpt files into \mods folder. Terrible instructions.

+1, instructions should include the function about an invisible options entry.
This step made my Vortex install piece of work out-of-the-box.

Finally information technology worked! Between the "Language" and "Dorsum" button on the Selection menu you lot find the invisible 1, there you can switch it ON!

As others have save cheers for this, the invisible menu threw me off and I had no thought why the mod wasn't working.

Wanted to chime in and say thank you for mentioning the invisible Options menu in Step iii. I figured I did something wrong with the install until reading your mail service. And yes, OthelloHeisenberg's comment absolutely should be stickied!

I finished the game (and DLCs) without oils xc% of the time before reading this. I am mad.
So the "modAutoApplyOils.xml" must end upwards un "Witcher iii\bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc"
The "modAutoApplyOilsMenu" folder end up in "Witcher 3\mods"
The in game subconscious menu can hands be found between Linguistic communication and Dorsum with the arrows.
Thank you :)

Used the witcher modernistic director , not the nexus mods one to install. Works similar a charm after switched on in the option. Quite visible also and not unvisible as others described.

I used Vortex to install this mod with no problem. Likewise, the Mods menu is visible to me correct from the start. I followed every step in the educational activity, so I don't sympathise why some ppl see the invisible Mods bill of fare. Maybe they forgot to create the Mods folder in the game directory?

I tried to use this mod and after redengine compiled the scripts I'grand unable to fifty-fifty kickoff the game.
Deleting the scripts didn't let me to reset.
I had to reinstall it from scratch. :(

Recollect to turn this mod on in Options -> Mods. Or at least try to manually install it if using Vortex/NMM doesn't work. Btw I used Vortex to install it with no trouble.

I also used vortex but I do not have a "Mods" category in Options. Do I need to change the load order?
EDIT: Found it. Wow non only was that southward*** invisible it was a tiny crevice. Best to find it simply using your arrow keys

Auto Use Oils is a good mod, only information technology applies oil, simply if the oil runs out, then you take to manually apply this, they could finish information technology.
